Non-Public Schools
Regents & NYS Assessments:
- Any student who participates in a NYS assessment or Regents exam must have their test results reported to the NYS Education Department by the MHRIC Testing Department.
- Non-Public schools who have students take a Regents at a public school, still must report the Regents exam through the MHRIC Testing Department.
- The MHRIC Testing Department provides pre-printed answer sheets for NYS assessments and Regents exams.
- NYS assessments are scanned at the MHRIC Testing Department. Regents exams are scanned at schools who have Regents scanners or at the MHRIC Testing Department.
- The MHRIC Testing Department processes and reports results of all paper based NYS assessments and Regents exams.
- CBT based testing is actively supported by the MHRIC Testing Department.
Deadlines for Verification and Certification of School Year Data in SIRS 2024-2025
Mandated Services:

- As of the 2015-16 school year, local and Regents graduates must be reported through the MHRIC Testing Department.
BEDS Day Collection:
- Instructions and support provided by the MHRIC Testing Department.
- Certification is completed in IDEx on the NYSED Business Portal.
BEDS Day Special Education Snapshot:
- VR 1-9 Reports must be verified by January 21, 2025.
- Instructions and support provided by the MHRIC Testing Department.
- Data Warehouse entry is available. Please contact the MHRIC Testing Department for pricing.
End of Year Verification:
- Instructions and support provided by the MHRIC Testing Department.
- Certification is completed in IDEx on the NYSED Business Portal.
