MHRIC supported Food Service Management Systems can be integrated with your student management system and includes utilities for meal application processing and tracking, direct certification, and verification processing. A variety of reports are available to assist with state reporting requirements.
Our support team, which consists of technical and application support specialists, has been supporting Heartland’s Food Service Management System for over 15 years. Implementation support includes installation of equipment and setting up the system. We work with the district food service staff to customize system settings, the food item database, and Point of Sale (POS) keyboards to meet their needs. On-site training is provided for food service directors, kitchen managers and cashiers. Implementation also includes up to 4 days on-site training at each building for the initial rollout of the system.
After implementation and training is complete, the application support team will continue to be available, during business hours, to all end users of the system via email, phone, and remote access to answer questions and assist with the use of the system. Ongoing technical support includes remote maintenance and diagnostics of all MHRIC installed equipment and onsite maintenance when necessary. The team also performs all year-end rollover processes associated with the system.
