The BrightBytes Early Warning Module from Clarity is an Early Warning System that individualizes dropout prediction and prevention using an advanced, research-based algorithm that determines factors that drive risk factors at each school, for each student. Using this sophisticated software, educators can intervene early, increase referral follow-through, and track progress at the student level.

District Responsibilities:

• Provide access to all necessary databases, including local assessment databases or any systems that are not hosted by the MHRIC
• Maintain and update all necessary databases, including local assessment or behavioral databases or any systems that are not hosted by the MHRIC that contain information necessary for the proper functioning of the early warning system
• Designate a person-of-contact for the MHRIC and BrightBytes to work with to maintain system fidelity
• Participate in the Technical Data Integration Kickoff call
• Participate in the Data Verification call
• Participate in the Staging Platform Visualization call
• Participate in the Implementation Planning Meeting scheduling and ensuring that all district stakeholders are notified and encouraged to attend training sessions
• Host two on-site professional learning events, planned in conjunction with BrightBytes and the MHRIC, and encourage attendance by all district stakeholders to ensure staff proficiency
• Notify the MHRIC of any issues with the system or to arrange for training days.

The BrightBytes Intervention Management Module from Clarity simplifies the process of associating students at risk to the right intervention services. The module allows educators to quickly assign services, track the reliability, frequency, and efficacy of those efforts. The software also allows for easy review and coordination of interventions to ensure the best way to ensure individual success for each student.

• Assist in defining district Measures within BrightBytes
• Arrange and participate up to two (2) days of on-site support/training
