It is becoming increasingly difficult for schools in our
region to release their administrators, teachers, and
staff to attend meetings, conferences, and classes.
While nothing compares to the benefits of networking
with experts and colleagues and obtaining personal assistance
from seasoned technology trainers, technology can
be used effectively to deliver content and support our users
quickly and remotely.
As part of the MHRIC's Technology Support Service, our series of training offerings are designed to deliver the content to you conveniently at your location. Our slices will offer 45
minutes of application training content followed
by 15-20 minutes of group discussion.
They are appropriate when you are
hungry for a technology snack, but you don’t have time for
a full class meal. Our trainers have prepared technology
samplers and are offering slices that might whet your
appetite to come and enjoy a full course class with us.
Please register for our slices the same way you do for our
hands-on classes. Once you register, you will receive an
email confirming your registration with system requirements
listed. A few days before the slice is scheduled to
begin, you will receive an email from the presenter with
the phone number, access code, and email address you
will need to participate in the slice. A quiet
space where you will not be interrupted is recommended.
