This Teacher's Guide to the Holocaust, produced by the Florida Center for Instructional Technology, University of South Florida, is a one-stop shop for learning/teaching about the state-sanctioned genocide of Jews on an unprecedented scale. The various hypertext links throughout the material usefully are coded (photos, document, in-depth, and so on) and the sections -Timeline, People, Arts, Student Activities, and Teacher Resources - cover the subject thoroughly.

Who Killed William Robinson

This historical "Whodunit" is based on an actual murder case on an island, Salt Spring in 1868. The site contains documents about 19th century British Columbia such as letters, diaries and newspaper articles. This allows students to gain some understanding of topics as immigration, gender equity, and race relations in the past. Students also will also encounter historial evidences of judicial problems, social violence, and economic changes on this small island. An excellent Teacher's Guide is also available.
